OsiSense® XU Photoelectric Sensors enable sensing, without physical contact, of all opaque and semi-transparent objects. Photoelectric sensors combine a light source, generally an infrared light source and a light receiver and sensing occurs when the light beam is broken, without any contact with the target. Their range of applications is very extensive and includes: monitoring the position of machine parts (cams, end stops, etc.), counting the presence of metal objects, etc.
