Overview
The UT Series screw terminal block is the only one of its kind on the market and combines the advantages of screw connection technology with the benefits of spring-loaded contacts. The snap-on PE foot and standardized bridges save a considerable amount of time when creating terminal strips.
Universal in every application. This characterizes the UT screw connection terminal blocks from the CLIPLINE complete system. They meet the highest requirements, impress with their maintenance-free conductor connection, and offer maximum flexibility with their multi-conductor connection.
You can connect conductors with a nominal cross section either with or without ferrules. It is not necessary to tighten the terminal block screws, since they are prevented from loosening by the Reakdyn principle, a screw locking technique developed by Phoenix Contact. Very large conductor cross sections up to 240 mm2 can also be wired gas-tight and with long-term stability thanks to the high contact forces.
The screw connection is characterized by three main features:
- Metals made of high-strength copper alloys
- Simple multi-conductor connection
- Maintenance-free "Reakdyn principle"
Features:
The large wiring space enables the connection of solid and stranded conductors without ferrules, even above the nominal cross section
As well as saving space, the compact design enables user-friendly wiring in a small amount of space
Optimum screwdriver guidance through closed screw shafts
Tested for railway applications
The cable entry funnel enables the use of conductors with ferrules and plastic collars within the nominal cross section
