The DPO4000 oscilloscope family ranges from 350 MHz to 1 GHz and is the first to offer the groundbreaking Wave Inspector™, an unprecedented set of easy-to-use tools for discovery and efficient viewing, navigating, and analyzing waveform data. DPO Technology Provides a Greater Level of Insight into Complex Signals:
DPO technology delivers superior insight into complex signals with the ability to display, store, and analyze three dimensions of signal information in real-time: amplitude, time, and distribution of amplitude over time. Fast waveform capture rates make it easier to capture and display infrequent waveforms or waveform variations, while the intensity graded display helps you locate and characterize waveform anomalies that can be elusive on traditional digital storage oscilloscopes.
Enhanced Troubleshooting Ability: Wave Inspector™
Wave Inspector™ provides a dedicated, two-tier front panel knob for intuitive control of both zooming and panning. A play/pause feature with adjustable speed allows customers to automatically scroll the waveform across the screen while they look for the event of interest. Wave Inspector™ also provides the ability to search through an acquisition and automatically mark all occurrences of a user-specified event, mark events of interest and navigate between them effortlessly. With Wave Inspector, the DPO4000 provides both the ease-of-use and waveform data granularity needed to quickly find and solve difficult problems.
TekVPI\'99 probe interface:
The new TekVPI\'99 probe interface sets the standard for ease of use in probing. TekVPI probes feature status indicators and controls, as well as a probe menu button right on the comp box itself. This button brings up a probe menu on the oscilloscope display with all relevant settings and controls for the probe. The TekVPI interface utilizes a new probe power management architecture enabling direct attachment of current probes without requiring a separate, bulky power supply. Finally, TekVPI probes can be controlled remotely via USB, GPIB or Ethernet, enabling more versatile solutions in ATE environments.
e*Scope® Web-based Remote Control:
e*Scope means you can control your DPO4000 oscilloscope from anywhere, using the Internet and your PC. Simply connect the DPO4000 oscilloscope to your LAN via its built-in Ethernet port, open a browser window on your PC and enter the DPO4000 oscilloscope's IP address in the Address window. The oscilloscope will respond, allowing you to control it from your browser. Download e*Scope control software to your PC for a graphical interface that displays the DPO4000 oscilloscope screen and front panel controls for easy access.
Flexible Features for Every Application:
Provided applications include National Instruments SignalExpress Tektronix Edition, OpenChoice\'ae Desktop, and Microsoft Excel and Word toolbars enabling fast and easy direct communication with your Windows PC. The iView feature fully integrates the industry-leading performance and measurement accuracy of a Tektronix oscilloscope with the multi-channel and powerful triggering capabilities of a Tektronix logic analyzer. Optional application modules enable you to transform your oscilloscope into a specialized tool for limit testing, telecommunications mask testing, and video troubleshooting. And, with its lightweight, compact size and battery pack, the DPO4000 Series oscilloscope can go wherever it is needed. It weighs only 4.5 kilograms, with battery installed. Use the optional plug-in thermal printer to instantly document your work, even in the field.
