SMC MHZ2/MHZJ2 Series 2 Finger Pneumatic Grippers with Integral Linear Guide:

SMC's MHZ2/MHZJ2 Series pneumatic parallel type 2 finger grippers are designed for gripping and centering in applications that require high rigidity. Martensitic stainless steel fingers, an integrated linear guide and two dowel pins prevent slippage. The series boasts a variety of mounting options (axial mount using tapped holes or end boss, lateral mount using tapped holes or thru holes, or vertical mount using tapped holes). Gripping choices include single acting (normally open or normally closed) and double acting. Finger options include standard, flat and narrow positions as well as a variety of bore sizes from 6 to 40mm. Other finger options include standard tap, side tap, standard thru holes and top taps on flat fingers. Long stroke versions are also available, as well as compact and clean room versions and versions with dust covers.

The MHZ2 Series gripper has an integrated linear guide for high rigidity, positioned with two dowel pins to prevent guide slippage. It has mounting versatility on three sides, in five configurations. Available in single acting (N.O., N.C.) and double acting.
