Schurter SHF and SHT Series Compact Fuses
Higher Voltage Overcurrent and Short Circuit Protection
Schurter SHF and SHT Series fuses provide higher voltage overcurrent and short circuit protection in a compact package size of 6.3 x 32 mm, ¼" x 1¼". Both series offers a high breaking capacity rating of up to 1,500 A at 500 VAC/VDC, across a wide range of current ratings. The high breaking capacity of 1,500 A safeguards electronic systems and operators in the event of a catastrophic short circuit incident.

The SHF has a quick-acting (F) characteristic, while the SHT Series is a slow blow or time-lag fuse, according to UL 248014 and CSA C22.2 no. 248.14. They are cURus approved and have sixteen rated currents from 1 to 32 A, with rated voltage up to 500 VAC/VDC. Pigtail versions for direct mounting on printed circuit boards are offered up to 10 A. These high-performance fuses are ideally suited for primary AC circuit protection in three-phase systems, HVAC systems, lighting, and other industrial building and automation systems. The new VDC rating provides primary protection in DC power systems for intelligent buildings, telecom centers, server farms, and related peripheral systems.

The combined AC and DC voltage ratings along with a detailed listing of breaking capacity ratings, and other precisely defined performance specifications, offer a highly reliable fuse approved for use in both alternating or direct current power applications.
