What are industrial light towers?

Most commonly in the form of a tower or column-like structure, industrial light towers often have different colored modular sections to signal various elements within a machine-operated system. While they emit a certain color of light to show a specific workflow status, many also feature auditory indicators, such as a tower lamp with a buzzer, to warn or highlight if there is an issue with a machine, or that a process is complete.

Light towers are a separate device and work by being connected to a control system, via a PC or through a hard-wired connection, such as a timer, attached to the machinery. This enables the user to set up the tower and program color-coded specifications to suit their application.
