Overview
3M MW Series Heat Shrink Tubing
The MW series heat shrink is a semi-rigid polyolefin tubing that is co-extruded and selectively cross-linked to provide an integral, meltable inner wall. This in wall softens when heated and forced by the shrink action into contact with all underlying surfaces, interstices and small voids. Once cooled it forms a tough protective and insulated barrier which is highly resistant to penetration by moisture and the introduction of chemicals and solvents. Shrinking occurs when heated above +135 °C and adhesive reflow will occur at temperatures above +80 °C.
