Trumeter Co Ltd is an international manufacturer and distributor of counting measuring and timing instruments.
This independent, privately owned business, has remained under the same family ownership for over 60 years and throughout has focused entirely on its core business, which is the development of measuring technology and control applications.
Founded in the UK in 1937, and in the USA in 1938, Trumeter now has significant sales in 48 countries world-wide, with a network of over 70 distributors and direct sales representation in France, Germany and the Pacific Rim in addition to its UK and North American sales forces.
Trumeter produces mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical and electronic product ranges, supported by a comprehensive design engineering service for industrial control applications.
From its origin in the 1930's primarily as a manufacturer of length measurement machines for the textile industry, Trumeter has diversified into a whole series of different markets whilst retaining the common technology of its core business.
