Souriau 8LT series jam nut receptacle connectors with bayonet locking, (built in accordance to MIL-DTL-38999) , are aluminum bodied, olive drab, durable connectors designed for use within military and civil aerospace, marine and offshore equipment, medical instrumentation, defense and military ground personnel and industrial connector applications. These Mil Spec jam nut connectors feature a bayonet coupling are 100% scoop proof and offer shell to shell continuity when mated. Souriau 8LT series military spec. jam nut receptacle connectors have very high resistance to harsh environmental factors such as shock (300g, 3ms) and temperature extremes and offer over 500 mating and unmating operations, complete with male contacts.
