Overview

SMC LVM Series Fluid Process Chemical Valves

The SMC LV family of chemical valves is designed to meet the most advanced needs of process controls in various types of analytical and inspection equipment, as well as in medical applications.
The direct-acting, solenoid-controlled LVM Series is perfect for a wide variety of chemical and semiconductor applications. Its unique internal chamber design reduces the swept volume to a minimum, and can mean zero dead volume and carry-over. LVM valves are available in four body sizes (made of PEEK) and offer a choice of EPDM, FKM, or Kalrez diaphragm material.

The high-purity, air-operated LVA Series is perfect for medical applications. LVA valves offer special diaphragm construction, ensuring gentle opening and closing, preventing the potential formation of micro-bubbles. A unique guide ring on the piston rod eliminates lateral motion of the poppet, thereby increasing seal life and reducing particle formation. With availability in three types of body materials (SUS, PPS, or PFA), the LVA Series can accept fluid temperatures of 32°F to 212°F.

Features:
  • Choice of Body Sizes and Wetted Materials
  • Choice of Diaphragm Seal Materials
  • Variety of Operating Pressure Ranges Available
  • Long Service Life - 10 Million Cycles or More
  • Choice of Air or Solenoid Operation
