Pros: This meter has all the functions required by an electric utility line, meter, or substation worker to perform their low voltage testing and trouble shooting. The LoZ function is very useful when capacitively coupled (Phanton) volts are present. The True RMS, backlight, capacitance, frequency, Non contact Volt Alert functions give this meter everything in a small, reasonably priced package with the reliability of Fluke Corp. Fluke has really outdone the competition with this one.
Cons: None at this time.
Other thoughts: Highly recommended this product for electricians and electric utility workers as well as any other users who need all these functions in one DMM.

The right choice for a new engineer

Pros: Well made product. The best brand for multimeters, hands down. This one in particular is a great choice for beginner engineers or technicians as well as experienced ones.
Cons: Limited features for the advanced user.
Other thoughts: If you don't know what you need. This one will likely take care of every situation you encounter.
