MIL-C-5015 style, provides the interconnection solution for low cost. Shell components are fabricated from high grade aluminum alloy to provide strength and environmental protection. Connector components are fabricated from high grade aluminum alloy, with a conductive cadmium plate finish and an olive drab chromate after-treatment. Some cable clamps are a zinc alloy with an olive drab⁄green chromate finish. Contacts are silver plated with pre-tinned solder cups

Pros: Connectors are very durable as are all the Amphenol connectors we have used in our facility. Hold up to continuous use and abuse. Great product.
Cons: Army color. A stainless or even just the natural finish would look better in the applications.
Other thoughts: Over all a really good highly durable connector.
