Connector components are fabricated from high grade aluminum alloy, with a conductive cadmium plate finish and an olive drab chromate after-treatment. Some cable clamps are a zinc alloy with an olive drab⁄green chromate finish. Contacts are silver plated with pre-tinned solder cups

Pros: This connector is one of the best in its class. The wide variety of configurations and sizes has yet to disappoint me. Good product!
Cons: The wide array of products is confusing at first, and has caused me to select wrong attachment hardware for the connector.
Other thoughts: It would be nice if some way could be utilized to streamline the selection process, to make it easier to match plugs, connectors and the attachment hardware specific to each model.
