Tyco Electronics' Raychem PowerGel sealant has been developed to meet the mechanical, electrical, temperature, and material compatibility requirements of direct buried and overhead applications.
PowerGel sealant consists of a silicone based cross-linked polymer mix. It will conform to and seal surfaces and has elasticity and shape retention for easy handling. The gel and its cover provide physical protection, electrical insulation, and a convenient means of delivering gel compression.
