Straight, 45° and 90° Cable Terminations With the Same Part
The Raychem spin lock variable angle backshell enables straight, 45° and 90° cable terminations with the same part. The connector backshell’s swiveling body rotates around the axis of the cable bundle and locks in position–minimizing stress on the wire bundle, and providing more robust strain relief than other termination systems. The Raychem spin lock variable angle backshell offers durability, excellent shielding using the Tinel–Lock termination system and full sealing capabilities.

  • Saddle clamp strain relief or heat-shrinkable molded shape provides strain relief and sealing
  • Variable angle backshell allows for multiple angle cable termination with the same part providing design flexibility and reduced inventory
  • Compatible with the most common military connectors like D38999 series I, II, III & IV, MIL–C–5015, 26482 Series II, 83723 Series III, and many more
  • Passes M85049 testing requirements for plating, materials, mechanical and electrical testing
  • Tinel–Lock ring system helps provide a high performance and low resistance shield termination
