Space–Saving Sensors
Solve space problems with miniature inductive proximity sensors. Perfect for positioning control, small parts placement, robotic grippers, counting, inspecting and other applications where space is a problem. Self contained DC units switch 100 mA loads with tiny 4 mm, 5 mm, 6.5 mm and 8 mm diameter housings with built–in LEDs. Inductive sensors detect metal objects contactless and wear–free. For this purpose they use a high–frequency electromagnetic AC field that interacts with the target. The sensors hosting a ferrite core coil generate the AC field through an LC resonant circuit.
