Economical, yet highly reliable, the Hirschmann INET unmanaged Ethernet switches feature a DIN rail mounting style and have 24 VDC inputs. All SPIDER switch ports are 10/100 auto-negotiating and auto-crossing (works with either patch or cross-over cables). The SPIDER II line offers more ports, while the SPIDER II Giga offers increased data speeds (Gigabit) and the option for fiber using available SFP transceivers. EEC versions offer extended temperature ranges of -40 to +70°C and meet all the relevant industrial standards. They are especially suitable for use in smaller data networks, where high bandwidth is more important than extensive management functions. The switches can be mounted on DIN rails and operated by the plug and play principle. Thanks to their compact housing which measures 35 x 38 x 121 millimeters, they can also be installed easily in junction boxes. Information about the device and network status can be read from the LED indicators on the front panel.
