Festo SMT/SME-8M Series T-Slot proximity sensors are fully compatible with all Festo cylinders that have T-slots. The SME/SMT series provide a reliable sensing solution in a variety of switching options. Sturdy central mounting guarantees that the sensor is securely screwed into the slot. Vibration, shock and tensile forces applied to the cable will neither cause the sensor to come loose nor lead to unreliable sensor functioning. All sensors have cables suitable for use in energy chains and on robots as standard. This ensures maximum dependability and process reliability.

Festo SMT/SME-10M Series C-Slot proximity sensors are fully compatible with all Festo cylinders that have C-slots and round cylinders with corresponding mounting kits. The SME/SMT series provide a reliable sensing solution in a variety of switching options. Sturdy central mounting guarantees that the sensor is securely screwed into the slot. Vibration, shock and tensile forces applied to the cable will neither cause the sensor to come loose nor lead to unreliable sensor functioning.

DHDS: SME-8M can only be used on 50

DHPS: SME-8M can only be used on 2 to 35

HGDD-63-A: SMT-8M-A cannot be used

HGPT-B: SMT-8G can only be used from size 40 upwards

SDBT-BSW-PU/NU can only be used on a limited number of drive series

C-slot Sensor Features:

Compatible with all Festo C-Slots

24 V dc Operating Voltage

Switching outputs PNP, NPN, contacting

ADVC 100: SMT-10M and SME-10M cannot be used (ADVC has a T-slot and C-slot)

DSM/DSM-B-6/8/10: SME-10M cannot be used

DSM/DSM-B-10/16: SMT-10M cannot be used

HGPT-B: SMT-10G can only be used up to size 35
