Overview

The popular ATC-Diversified Electronics SLU Series Universal Phase Monitors provide cost-effective protection against premature equipment failure caused by voltage faults on 3-phase systems (Delta or Wye). A single SLU Phase Monitoring Relay can be easily adjusted for the voltage, percent unbalance and fault delay requirements to protect against unbalanced voltages or single-phasing on applications up to 700 VAC.

With normal operating voltage present on all three phases in the proper sequence, the internal relay will energize (pick-up). When an incorrect phase sequence, phase loss, under-voltage, over-voltage, frequency shift or unbalance condition occurs greater than the settings, the internal relay will de-energize. When all conditions return to normal, the relay will energize when the adjustable restart delay has expired.

Both Delta and Wye systems may be monitored. In Wye systems, connections to neutral are not required.

Protects Against:

  • Phase Loss

  • Phase Reversal

  • Over/Under Voltage

  • Phase Unbalance

  • Over/Under Frequency

  • Phase Shift

  • Auto Ranging
