Pros: Very qick heat up time. Pen is a perfect size. Tips are easy to change. Good solid construction. Easy to work with.
Cons: None so far.
Other thoughts: I have spent years waiting long periods of time for my iron to heat up. This one is ready so fast and there is a LED that lets you know when it is ready. No more wasting my time and solder checking the tip to see if it is hot enough. If you are looking at the difference in price between this unit and a less expensive one, this unit is well worth the extra price. I was apprehensive at first but now that I took the plunge and spent the extra money I am very happy with the purchase. It will probably more than pay for itself in the electricity it saves over the coming years compared to the cheaper models.

Pros: Reliable. Fast acting. Ease of changing tips.
Cons: After years of usage the pen seems to lose its quality and a replacement is needed.
Other thoughts: I have about 10 of these in my small company and this station has brought out the true value of what a soldering machine should be.

Pros: The soldering iron takes no time at all to heat up. Tips come in a variety of sizes and shapes. The first tip was used soldering aircraft grade connectors by the hundreds before needing replaced...
Cons: No cons in my opinion.
